Spin⁡(6,C)\operatorname{Spin}(6,\mathbb C) is the generated by even products of vectors of squared length 1 in the of C6\mathbb C^{6} with relation v2=−∑jvj2v^2=-\sum_jv_j^2. Its conjugation action on vectors is the standard double covering of SO(6,C)\mathrm{SO}(6,\mathbb C).

Dimensions and structure

This group has real dimension 3030, complex dimension 1515. Its tangent algebra is the skew-symmetric 6×66\times6 matrices. The group is .

Its structure uses holomorphic multiplication and inversion. Forgetting the complex structure gives the ; real and holomorphic homomorphisms belong to different categories.

The complex spin group in dimension six is SL(4,C). See .
